The Proverbs 31 Woman: How Not to Do It All – FaithGateway

Have you ever listened to the verses about Proverbs 31 woman and rolled your eyes silently? And groaned on the inside? And envied/hated/disdained her? Or have you had those verses thrown at you: “Why can’t you be more like that woman? This is the woman GOD says you are to be!” If you say yes to any one of those questions, then welcome to the club. I have had each one of those questions asked to me, and my response wasn’t Christlike.

But I am reading this post and I am like “thank you sistah!” This is one who is, by God’s grace, shining light on some verses that I quickly read over in my Bible. Really, the LORD is good, to bring clarity and understanding in this time. So I really encourage you to read the post.  And recognize, to live like Jesus, or to be like the Proverbs 31 woman, you need help. You need the Holy Spirit, you need grace, you need the Word. So let’s get on our knees and sincerely ask the Father.
